Properties of complex Numbers with respect to addition

There are following properties of complex numbers. Associative, additive identity, additive inverse and commutative properties.

If Z_1=(x_1,y_1),Z_2=(x_2,y_2),Z_3=(x_3,y_3)

 be the three complex numbers then

  1.   (Z_1+Z_2)+Z_3=Z_1+(Z_2+Z_3) .

 Associative property of addition

2.   Z + 0 = 0 + Z = Z

Additive identity

3.   Z + ( -Z ) = ( 0,0) = 0

Additive inverse property

4.   Z_1+Z_2 = Z_2 + Z_1 .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .

Commutative property of addition
